the glass menagerie- tennessee williams a drama about failure on multiple levels. failure of families, promises, and capitalism. tennessee williams is considered one of the first voices on american drama, and i can see why.  i wasn’t a big fan of this one, mainly because nothing really happens. however, i see how he helped pave the way for different genres such as absurdism.  3/5 quote: “Perhaps I am walking along a street at night, in some stange city, before I have found companions.
